Two Door Cinema Club is an Irish indie band formed in 2007. The band consists of Alex Trimble (vocal), Kevin Baird (bass), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals).
Two Door Club was formed first from the friendship between Trimble, Halliday, and Baird. The three of them first played as a band on the ATL Rock School program using the name Life Without Rory. Life Without Rory formed 3 demos before they finally added a new personnel to the position of drummer. With this formation, they changed the band’s name to Two Door Cinema Club. Actually, the name of the band was Tudor Cinema, but because Halliday mispronounced the name, they finally chose the name Two Door Cinema Club to be the name of their band.
